WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?
Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking to hire a Casual Counter Associate to work across our Myer Northland and Myer Doncaster counters.
The ideal candidate must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week and will be flexible with their schedule which will include weekends, some nights and public holidays, working around 10-15 hours each week. More hours are available for those candidates who can work across multiple locations. We are looking for someone with good initiative and is a strong team player.
The successful candidate must be available to start by Monday the 27th of May, at the latest.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Greet all customers who enter the store with enthusiasm and professionalism reflecting DECIEM’s vision through excellent service
- Determine the customer’s needs and suggest relevant products by listening to the customer and sharing the product knowledge acquired during brand training
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Adhere to the DECIEM experience and deliver unparalleled customer service. Educate customers about the world of Beauty and Skin Care, DECIEM brands and products
- Manage customer feedback and queries
- Operate POS and complete transactions accurately and efficiently
- Participate in inventory control and counts to ensure product stock is up to date
- Contribute to a positive, fun, and professional team environment
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, company information, launches and campaigns
- Perform operational duties such as cash handling, restocking, replenishing products
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Love of beauty products and a passion for skincare
- Comfortable in engaging customers and applying products with the customer while providing consultations
- Ability to multi-task, while providing professional and outstanding customer service
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
