WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced Mulesoft Developer to work on the development of Mule applications to meet the needs of the Deciem Ecosystem. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of Apis. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and be familiar with .Net or another object-oriented programming language.

This hybrid role will be based out of our Fraser Head Office in Toronto.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Work closely with the rest of the team members of DECIEM’s engineering team and external vendors designing and building solutions that contribute to the overall digital ecosystem.
  • Follow best practices and standards for integration development and deployment and Provide recommendations for how all aspects of the MuleSoft platform can advance DECIEM’s digital transformation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Document the design and functionality of each integration for reference and training purposes.
  • Work with the IT team to ensure the integration solutions align with the overall IT architecture and business strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend new integration technologies and tools to improve integration capabilities.
  • Contribute to MuleSoft technical governance framework, especially around DevOps practices.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on integration development
  • Strong knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform and MuleSoft development with 3+ years of experience on the platform
  • MuleSoft Developer certification required (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer - Integration and API Associate, MuleSoft Certified Developer - Integration Professional)
  • Experience with APIs, ESBs, and other integration technologies and Understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Knowledge of API security standards and protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, etc.)
