WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?

Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a digital lover to help with the E-Retail expansion of The Ordinary. You will be working directly with the Online Manager, in collaboration with the Brand and Partnerships teams.

The role is based in Paris, in the EMEA Headquarters, where you will help coordinate and drive E-Retail / Pure Players projects across the region (25+ markets), as well as work with the Global teams based in Toronto, Canada.

  • Bilingualism in both French and English is an essential requirement for the role<3
  • Start Date: July 2025
  • 6-month internship based in Paris
  • Convention De Stage/Internship Agreement is mandatory

High Potential Candidate:

Student with a higher education Bac +4/5 or Business Schools.At least one significant experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing is required. Experience within the E-commerce / E-Retail sector is a strong plus.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Pure player partners development:

  • Support in brainstorming, developing, and coordinating a best-in-class Q4 2025/Q1 2026 e-Trade animation plan to help achieve our Online objectives (example of partners we work with: Zalando, Notino, Flaconi, etc.).
  • In collaboration with the Brand team, lead and coordinate S2 2025 online visual requests (banners, newsletters, etc.).
  • Lead creative briefs and translations with our dedicated agencies.
  • Collect and manage the Online Partners’ requests about the S2 2025 new launches or existing products.
  • Support in the development and expansion of existing partners: optimizing the rating & reviews / ensuring the most up-to-date visuals in the retailer’s brand boutique before Slowvember / help develop specific S2 2025 new launch visuals & landing pages.

Online strategy best practices building

  • Support in driving an always-on heroes’ strategy by December 2026 (via on-site & off-site animations, brand boutique, product pages).
  • Update The Ordinary online toolkits with the most up-to-date visuals & copy. Help coordinate the retailer updates with the Partnership Team.

Reporting /Other :

  • Support in reporting and analyzing the monthly E-Retail business (orders, sales, product performance, conversion rate, average order value, etc.).
  • Help analyze Q2-Q3 2025 specific online animations and build learnings / best practices.
  • Support with specific analyses: rating & reviews/heroes/product ranges analyses and comparison, etc.
  • Collect and manage the Online Partners’ commercial requests (linked with orders, pricing, etc).
  • Regular partners and competitors monitoring.
  • Help building PowerPoint presentations / Excel dashboards.

            SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

            • Good knowledge of Excel and its formulas, as well as PowerPoint (and/or Google Slides, Google Sheets).
            • Strong communication skills
            • Organizational skills are highly required as the internship consists in juggling several projects at once and being in contact with several internal and external people.
            • Attention to detail, proactivity, precision, autonomy, data mindset, and reporting skills.
