Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder, Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Head of Brand who will lead the direction and brand management for The Ordinary and NIOD at DECIEM. This includes owning the DECIEM Brand Voice, inclusive of The Ordinary, NIOD as well as owning other brand moments

This is a hybrid role based out of our London office.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Create the vision and strategy for The Ordinary Brand Voice campaigns. This includes executing the these campaigns and weaving the Brand Voice message into other campaigns led by the wider team
  • Create, plan and execute the innovation campaigns that drive new and repeat customer acquisition and brand health improvement
  • Lead and collaborate on campaigns by working effectively with key channels such as Creative, Digital, Paid, OOH, Retail Comms, Social and CRM
  • Manage campaigns with excellence, from inception through to execution and reporting
  • Lead and contribute to Brand Planning, adhering and improving brand processes and brand calendar mapping
  • Be the Brand Leader for NIOD – you’ll be responsible for the brand positioning, unique selling points and product messaging. Collaborate with Scientific on future product development and with regions on incremental distribution and retailer launches
  • Own the collection and analysis of KPI’s to support learning and future planning
  • Engage in insight and market analysis to deepen the team’s understanding of our key consumers
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Market teams to ensure the delivery of concepts and assets that support regional needs
  • Support the creation of quarterly reports to the Brand VP, debriefing on campaigns, launches, and overall brand engagement performance
  • Be a people leader and mentor for your team

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Minimum 7+ years of marketing experience, in-house or agency, with a proven track record of successfully mentoring and managing a team
  • Strong creative leadership skills with experience working with creative teams in bringing executions to life
  • Previous experience managing creative agencies with excellent campaign output
  • Experience with planning and buying media (global experience is a bonus/preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; detail oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of the beauty industry and other related industries such as fashion, lifestyle etc.
