WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a System Support Analyst, specializing in D365 F&O, to join our team in assisting the project functional team with the set-up, deployment, and support of a global rollout of enterprise applications for DECIEM Inc.

This is a hybrid position, based out of our Toronto Head Office.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Prepare training materials for new system functionality and/or process changes
  • Own and deliver training plans to end users for major changes
  • Monitor and support the adoption of systems and processes by users through on-the-job training, development of standard operating procedures and job aids.
  • Act as front-line support to end user groups to troubleshoot system errors and report any consistent issues and opportunities for improvements to Business Analysts for evaluation
  • Assist in documentation of project configurations
  • Review end user SOPs to ensure usability and technical accuracy
  • Ensuring data quality and consistency generated in enterprise systems follow approved workflows and procedures.
  • Provide pre-go live and post go live support
  • Be a peer leader for end users in applying known systems and process tools to resolve daily problems and
  • Advise stakeholders of potential conflicts and gaps to assure consistency throughout the life of the project
  • Support managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing system capabilities.
  • Train and instruct users with respect to their specific day-to-day activities.
  • Investigate and resolve issues identified by project users.
  • Collect and understand requests for minor changes and major enhancements to the system, points out alternative options where possible.
  • Prioritize bugs and enhancements in conjunction with other functional support personnel.
  • Collaborate with QA team members to develop and run test scenarios and test cases.
  • Perform functional acceptance testing of bug fixes, minor enhancements and major enhancements and co-ordinates user acceptance testing.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • A curious mind who wants to learn, question and teach
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate with end users in an empathetic and clear manner
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal is required.
  • Superior time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without detailed supervision.
  • A recognized degree from an accredited College or University. Engineering or Computer Science preferred. Equivalent relevant work experience is also acceptable.

MUST HAVES:

  • Certification MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations.
  • 2-4 years of experience in tier 1 enterprise software such as D365 F&O, SAP, Dassault etc.
  • 1-3 years experience in core business processes such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience in a start-up or SME.
  • Previous enterprise system implementation experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of best practices, principles and procedures as related to small-to-mid sized business processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
