WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a creative and proactive Senior Manager, Brand "The Ordinary", who will lead the development of brand voice launch campaigns, working with external vendors including creative agencies, as well as internal key channel leads such as creative, digital, social, retail, OOH/paid media, communications, and internal training.

5-7 years in Brand/Marketing roles
3 + years of people management and/or leadership experience is required

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Reporting into the Global Head of Brand Narrative, the Senior Brand Manager of The Ordinary / DECIEM is responsible for brand planning, integrated campaign development and leading cross-functional work to deliver on the overall brand objectives for the company.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across the business to ensure that campaigns and launches function cohesively across touchpoints
  • Lead the collection and analysis of KPI’s to support learning and future planning
  • Lead and own long term heart-winning brand voice-led campaigns, as well as agile reactive moments, to ensure timeless success and relevance of the brand. This includes working closely with Social and Comms to translate campaign direction into native, ownable activations with clear landscape cut-through.
  • Spearhead Brand Voice direction on various product campaigns, ensuring messaging is cut-through to ensure brand promise remains top of line.
  • Deliver strategies to support the retention of existing consumers and the creation of new to file consumers.
  • Engage in insight and market analysis to deepen the team’s understanding of our key consumers
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Market teams to ensure the delivery of concepts and assets that support regional needs
  • Support the creation of reports, debriefing on campaigns, launches, and overall brand engagement performance
  • Be a champion for the Brand across the organization and ensure the business is adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Support with the sustainability and social impact team and diversity, equity & inclusion team regularly to incorporate our approach into aspects of work.
  • Act as DECIEM’s go-to liaison as it relates to our OOH media buying agency, principal creative agency.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

    • Brilliant conceptual and creative thinker with a proven track record of honing in on big, sharp ideas that can be activated across 360 channels, especially across OOH and social.
    • Strong appreciation and intuition of brands, with a clear appreciation and proven track record of championing brand values across an assortment of brand-led campaigns.
    • Proven delivery of successful integrated, omnichannel global brand campaigns essential, including sustainability and social impact initiatives.
    • Proven execution of innovative content management and creation
    • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with key stakeholders
