WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Brand Intern with a background in marketing or communications to support the execution and growth of the NIOD brand, globally.

You will be part of the Global brand team, reporting to one of our brand managers. The role is based in London where a part of the team is sitting, while the rest is based in Toronto, Canada

  • This is a 4-month internship starting on May 11, 2026, to August 28, 2026.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Assist in building and maintaining a fortnightly competitor and cultural intelligence tracker, covering skincare and adjacent categories (wellness, supplements, aesthetics, tech) to identify whitespace opportunities for NIOD.
  • Support strategic thinking for upcoming innovations by contributing to early-stage concept exploration, including product ideas, claims development, storytelling angles, and brand planning.
  • Support the creation of post-campaign and post-launch reports by gathering cross-functional inputs, tracking performance against objectives, and monitoring brand visibility across e-commerce, social, and editorial platforms.
  • Identify content gaps or inconsistencies in campaign execution and flag key insights and findings to the team.
  • Support the ideation, coordination, timeline management, and asset delivery of NIOD Moments in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in analysing customer sentiment and feedback (reviews, comments, DMs) to extract key themes, unmet needs, and product perception insights.
  • Support the audit of NIOD’s consumer journey across key touchpoints (website, retail, social) to identify friction points and opportunities to improve experience.
  • Support brand expansion efforts with regional teams (APAC, NA, EMEA), ensuring alignment and coordination across markets.
  • Manage and respond to regional team and retailer requests (e.g. product information, assets, launch details), ensuring timely coordination and brand consistency.
  • Gather market best practices and support the creation of guidelines/toolkits, as well as help build internal and external presentations and coordinate internal events.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

    • Passionate, curious, and creatively driven, with the ability to think beyond the obvious and bring fresh, innovative perspectives.
    • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, precision, autonomy, and team spirit, with solid reporting skills.
    • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools (Google Slides, Google Sheets).
    • Fluency in English is mandatory, ensuring clear and effective communication in an international environment.
