DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for…
A Senior Director, Markets – EMEA, to bring passion, energy, and vision to our Commercial, Marketing, and Communications strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Reporting directly to our Vice President of Global Commercial, you’ll be at the heart of driving our growth story – boosting revenue, expanding our market presence, elevating brand awareness, and building lasting connections with our customers, partners, and stakeholders.

HOW TO WIN?

We’re looking for a dynamic senior leader with 8+ years of experience driving commercial growth, leading large teams, and mastering SOX compliance, a strategic thinker with exceptional financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire collaboration, manage change, and deliver results under pressure.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Lead DECIEM’s Commercial Strategy across EMEA: Set ambitious sales targets, develop winning market-entry plans, and design cost-effective business operations to grow revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Drive execution with excellence: Partner with Account Management teams to deliver regional sales strategies, exceed KPIs, and continuously improve performance while anticipating and mitigating risks.
  • Champion innovation and collaboration: Cascade clear strategic messaging, align with senior executives across regions, and foster strong external relationships to overcome challenges and seize new opportunities.
  • Craft a consumer-centric Marketing & Communications strategy: Bring our brand to life locally, ensuring omnichannel excellence across retail, e-commerce, and freestanding stores while amplifying engagement through creative campaigns and disruptive communications.
  • Strengthen retailer partnerships: Create tailored differentiation programs and investment strategies to maximize reach, earned media value, and consumer conversion across all channels.
  • Deliver outstanding financial performance: Own the regional P&L, manage OPEX with precision, lead demand planning and forecasting, and identify white space opportunities to exceed top-line and net targets.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team: Set clear objectives, coach and mentor direct reports, optimize organizational design, and create a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous growth.
  • Champion a GROW culture: Foster an environment of feedback, collaboration, and innovation that empowers individuals and teams to thrive.
  • Ensure operational transparency: Provide clear reporting between regional and global teams, aligning priorities and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Embed Sustainability, Social Impact & Belonging: Into every decision, ensuring department strategies reflect DECIEM’s values and deliver meaningful impact across the region.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Own SOX Control Design & Execution: Ensure all controls within scope are properly designed, performed consistently and on time, with complete, accurate, and up-to-date documentation to mitigate financial risk.
  • Collaborate & Align with Global Process Owners (GPOs): Regularly review control design, share best practices, communicate changes, and update controls through the quarterly Control Design Assessment process.
  • Monitor, Test & Remediate: Support management and independent testing, identify deficiencies, and design/implement sustainable remediation plans to maintain compliance and strengthen controls.
  • Strategic Leadership & Business Expertise: Brings excellent business and financial acumen, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of change management and the functional beauty market. Skilled problem solver, negotiator, and crisis manager with proven experience building, leading, and empowering large Commercial, Marketing, and Communication teams. Adept at making strategic decisions across multiple disciplines, fostering collaboration, influencing outcomes, and aligning stakeholders internally and externally. Holds 8+ years of people management/leadership experience with relevant education or equivalent business management background.
  • Operational Excellence & Execution Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Demonstrates strong follow-up, ability to work under sustained pressure, and deliver results under tight deadlines. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), capable of managing complex challenges, and consistently driving successful outcomes through disciplined execution and effective communication.
