Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales - US to lead the growth of a key online sales account in the US market. In this role, you will craft and execute high-impact commercial strategies to exceed KPIs, unlock new growth opportunities, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.

The salary range for this position is $155k-170k annually depending on experience and qualifications

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Develop and execute comprehensive online commercial strategy that drives the digital experience, maximizes sales, and achieves key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Deliver a seamless and best-in-class consumer experience through the execution of the go-to-market plan
  • Partner with the online marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns that drive traffic, enhance brand visibility, and increase conversion
  • Analyze key online performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies to grow online sales through optimization efforts
  • Enhance product detail pages by managing and optimizing content, including images, descriptions, and keywords, to enhance visibility, improve SEO, to drive higher traffic and conversion
  • Collaborate closely with the demand planning team to accurately forecast sales, ensure sufficient stock levels, and optimize inventory to meet customer demand
  • Oversee the Sales Planning and overall P&L for the key account and participate in annual negotiations
  • Develop 360 Trade Marketing plans in tandem with merchant counterparts, internal account managers, and the online marketing team to drive growth and market share
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of all drivers of business performance, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to consistently optimize strategy and execution across partners
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with the account, fostering collaboration and trust to drive mutual growth and success
  • Represent the DECIEM brand in high visibility retailer specific corporate meetings and strategy sessions, ensuring image, presentation and actions support brand ethos and the strengthening of brand values

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Demonstrated understanding of the functional beauty market in North America with direct working experience with key Online pure players
  • Strong problem solver and negotiator with excellent follow up skills and ability to build solid collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates well-developed business + analytical acumen and understands how to implement/manage change
  • Proven track record in driving incremental revenue by leveraging sales insights, performance marketing, pricing, and product performance
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Online trends
  • 6+ years of Online experience, experience managing pure player accounts preferred
