Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an intern preparing a Bac+4 or Bac+5 Communication / Digital Marketing degree, able to help our European growth, supporting our communication activities.

You will be part of the EMEA Communications team. The role is based in Paris in the EMEA Headquarters, where you will help drive and implement our communication activities across the region (16 markets), as well as working with the Global teams based in Toronto, Canada

High Potential Candidate:

Soon to graduate from a business/communication school, with at least 1 first corporate work experience in digital, marketing, and/or communications. With a strong interest in skincare.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Support the rollout of 4 product launches, 3 key campaigns (Back to School, Anti-Black Friday, Holiday Sets), and always-on strategies across press, influencer, and event activations.
  • Coordinate seeding logistics for media, influencers, and agencies, including product orders, outreach, mailer execution, and tracking.
  • Manage asset adaptation for all launches and campaigns, including translations in 7 languages, design team briefings, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with agencies to implement the always-on strategy in key markets, assisting with influencer vetting, outreach, and shipping.
  • Maintain and update the media, influencer, and agency database; conduct research and vet new profiles and communities.
  • Track weekly media coverage and communications activities across the beauty industry; compile reports and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead the micro-influence strategy via Skeepers by setting up 4 campaigns, coordinating product shipments, and approving profiles.
  • Assist in organizing events across France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
  • Support with award submissions, editorial and digital monitoring, office stock maintenance, and tracker updates.
  • Help nurture relationships by sending follow-ups and thank-you emails to media and influencers, and participating in team brainstorms.

          SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

          • Highly autonomous, organized, and proactive with strong project follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders independently.
          • Passionate, enthusiastic, and curious, with a creative mindset and a love for out-of-the-box thinking.
          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong team spirit and collaboration abilities.
          • Deep understanding of social media platforms and influencer dynamics, with a genuine interest in digital trends and influencer marketing.
          • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel – basic functions); experience with tools like Launchmetrics, Tribe, Tagger, and Skeepers is a strong plus.
