Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a warehouse associate to help with shipping and receiving at our Distribution Centre.
This role will be based out of our new Newark Distribution Centre.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Managing the receiving and shipping of goods in the Distribution Center
- Working with scanners to update all stock received, inventory movements, and auditing inventory to report discrepancies as required
- Perform truck inspections and complete checklist forms
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Documentation Practices guidelines
- Conducts Stock Inventory counts as required on a regular basis
- Picking, checking, and packing of sales orders and transfer orders
- Rework products for specific customers
- Maintain strict compliance around health and safety measures and governance to ensure a safe work environment exists for all employees
- Maintenance of the DC, PPE equipment and accessories provided
- Complete the Material Handling Equipment Daily checklist
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Warehousing Experience (required)
- Fluency in English language with a strong emphasis on both oral and written communication skills is essential for this position.
- Warehouse Machinery Licenses (preferred)
- Attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
- This is a physically demanding position and requires the ability to lift 25kg
