WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a People Intern for the Summer 2026 term to support our People & Culture team. This role is ideal for someone who is data and AI savvy (or interested) and eager to help across various HR projects. This entry-level role is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Human Resources and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Work Term Duration: Summer 2026 - May 11th, 2026 to August 28th, 2026

Location: DECIEM Head Office -15 Fraser Ave, Toronto, ON M6K 1Y7

Hourly rate: $22.00

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Participate in and support various HR projects.
  • Assist with administrative and analytical work as we move through integration.
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs and day-to-day operations, including preparation of documents, forms, employment letters, onboarding and offboarding actions, and other employee change related processes
  • Explore and help implement AI into our processes.
  • Perform other related administrative duties to support the broader People & Culture team

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE:

      • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and Strong Analytical Skills
      • Proficient in using various technologies and tools, and interested in AI
      • Comfortable working with data and learning new HR systems (e.g., HRIS)
      • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset and Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
