Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Senior Manager, Asia, who will lead the development of brand voice launch campaigns, working with external vendors including creative agencies, as well as internal key channel leads such as creative, digital, social, retail, OOH/paid media and communications.

This is a FT, permanent role, working in a hybrid capacity at the ELC Hong Kong offices located in Tsim Sha Tsui.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Support the Director of Brand, APAC in building the overall Brand strategy for DECIEM, defining brand values, tone of voice and messages
  • Direct DECIEM’s Consumer Engagement strategy with the support of Director of Brand, APAC
  • Report monthly on Consumer Engagement metrics
  • Build and implement strong launch plans for new products and brands
  • Conceptualize and build-out on-brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with creative, scientific and digital teams
  • Work alongside the Creative team to build engaging content for DECIEM, ensuring that brand voice and values are reflected through all content and assets
  • Work across all stages of New Product Development (NPD) including competitor analysis, positioning, names, sizing and pricing
  • Work closely with Head of Digital and Brand Analyst to understand DECIEM’s audience behaviors and needs
  • Propose new brand experiences, initiatives and collaborations
  • Work with external agencies and distributors to provide approved assets and protect Brand image

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Experience in delivering/managing Consumer Engagement Strategy and Metrics in Asia
  • Strong understanding of the beauty industry and consumer sentiment with extensive branding knowledge as related to other industries such as fashion, lifestyle etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of New Product Development in the beauty care industry, including skincare, color cosmetics, body care and baby care categories
  • Solid organization and time management skills, detail-oriented and ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced team environment
  • 3 + years of people management and/or leadership experience is required
