WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an inventory control associate to help provide operational support, inventory efficiency, and integrity.

This role will be based out of our Newark Distribution Center.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Responsible for inventory integrity of Finished Goods in the USA Distribution Centre, E-Commerce and Freestanding Stores.
  • Maintain an inventory accuracy level of 98% or higher at the end of each quarter and fiscal year.
  • Coordinate daily cycle counts, analyze data for trends or discrepancies, investigate and resolve issues.
  • Support with preparation of the Distribution Centre (DC), E-Commerce and Freestanding Stores for the year-end inventory count.
  • Observe and identify outstanding and aging Transfers, Adjustments, Returns and Transactions that require further attention to resolve cross functionally.
  • Help with developing Standard Operating Process (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and Process Flows for key business processes.
  • Retain accurate records and ensure proper documentation in company database.
  • Monitor changes to inventory statuses for Close-to Expired Finished Goods, Quality or Operational reasons, update the inventory status and work with internal Inventory Control Manager and Distribution Centre team to consolidate inventory in the appropriate zone.
  • Handle shipment and receipt discrepancies for DC-to-DC transfers, Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales Orders, DC-to-Store transfers, DC-to-Consignment orders, and DC-to-E-Commerce orders.
  • Oversee weekly E-Commerce returns, update tracker and inventory levels.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the capability to work across multiple modules and programs.
  • 1-2 years of relevant inventory control experience or related field.
