WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Total Rewards & People Analytics Consultant to join our Total Rewards team on a 1-year contract. This position will be based out of our head office in Liberty Village and offers a hybrid work schedule, 2-days a week on-site, 3-days a week work from home.

This person will be responsible for leading the coordination and execution of key compensation and analytics initiatives for the People team. This role reports directly to the Global Director, Total Rewards & People Analytics and serves as a key partner in translating strategy into structured, high-impact execution.

The role provides day-to-day leadership to the Compensation and People Analytics team, supporting their development, prioritization, and alignment with business goals. It also plays an active role in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, contributing to due diligence, integration planning, and harmonization of compensation programs and people data.

This is a hands-on role, requiring the ability to both lead and execute. The Strategic Projects Partner is expected to actively support work such as building dashboards, conducting compensation analyses, pulling and interpreting data, and ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives. The role acts as the bridge between strategic direction and operational execution, ensuring that projects are well-organized, clearly communicated, and delivered with consistency and impact.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Translate Total Rewards and People Analytics strategies into detailed project plans with clear timelines and deliverables and Coordinate cross-functional efforts and lead the execution of high-priority initiatives
  • Support execution of annual compensation processes including merit increases, promotions, and incentive payouts as well as leading compensation-related projects including salary benchmarking, internal equity reviews, and job evaluations
  • Maintain and improve compensation frameworks, documentation, and internal standards and develop communication materials and presentations to support internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Oversee analytics projects in partnership with the People Analytics Specialist as well as delivering dashboards and insights that support decision-making across compensation, engagement, and retention
  • Support the development, analysis, and reporting of employee engagement surveys and associated action plans and present data-driven insights through storytelling and visualization tailored for leadership audiences
  • Provide day-to-day direction to the Compensation and People Analytics team, ensuring priorities are clear and aligned while collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other functions to ensure coordination and consistency
  • Support the Global Director in coaching the team, assigning tasks, and driving a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Participate in compensation due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, and integrations
  • Contribute to post-acquisition alignment of pay structures, analytics processes, and reporting frameworks

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of compensation cycles, market benchmarking, and job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer, Radford)
  • Experience Managing and supporting people analytics and engagement programs
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Excel, Qualtrics, and HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, Workday)
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional HR projects from planning through execution
