Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a seasoned brand builder who is passionate about supporting the growth of new DECIEM brands as part of our re-ignited Incubator. Reporting into the global Senior Director of New Ventures for DECIEM, this individual will be comfortable managing end-to-end global brand and product launches, 360 brand strategy and campaigns, community building and management, while also developing DECIEM’s Incubator program into a powerhouse of innovation and inspiration.

The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in start-up and scale-up corporations, knowing how to drive smaller teams and projects with agility and speed while navigating complex corporate processes and teams when required. They will possess a strong passion for incubation, creativity, doing things differently, and operating as a self-starter.

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York office.

The salary range for this role is $97,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • In partnership with the Senior Director of New Ventures, own the Incubator go-to-market plans to bring to life new brands, products, concepts and activities to support the DECIEM Incubator
  • Lead creative brand development in partnership with the Global Art Director, managing the development of creative assets including proofreading and copy editing a range of assets to uphold a consistent tone of voice, including video scripts and campaign copy for both brands
  • Own the management of the Incubator brand calendars, building out key moments by channel and developing content + materials to support each moment
  • Build and present strong briefs to creative and downstream teams, grounded in a seasoned understanding of 360 stakeholders + business objectives
  • Think innovatively and strategically, unafraid to upend a typical campaign architecture to create campaigns that will bring brand moments to life
  • Oversee the Press, Media & Creator program, managing the micro, macro and major influencer communities, continually vetting contacts, fostering key relationships and growing databases as the lead for the DECIEM Incubator
  • Manage the creator strategy and operations of the @loopha TikTokShop business
  • Partner with regional teams as the global lead across Incubator on key brand moments throughout the year to drive buzz and engagement globally
  • Build and manage a robust 360 consumer-first brand strategy with touchpoints in and offline (OOH, pop-ups, consumer events, etc.)
  • Ideate, concept and execute creative ideas, social campaigns and influencer programs to build brand excitement

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 6+ years experience in a brand management or equivalent role is essential, ideally with a global brand in beauty or CPG
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt tone to fit different audiences and channels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation in the beauty industry
  • Proven delivery of successfully integrated, omnichannel brand campaigns is essential. Ability to write a strategically-sound campaign brief from a blank page
  • Confident public speaker and presenter of ideas in both large and small, casual and formal settings
