WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?

Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

🌍 We’re looking for a strategic, agile, and hands-on Brand Director to shape and lead DECIEM’s marketing vision across the EMEA region, bringing ABNORMAL ideas to life through full-funnel, integrated campaigns.

🤝 This is a deeply collaborative role, working cross-functionally with global and regional teams to align messaging, drive innovation, and ensure our brand feels unified across every touchpoint.

🚨 Start date strategically on July 1, 2025

Strong Asset:

  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with key stakeholders. Understanding of multiple departments' involvement, like Communication PR, Retail, and more
  • 8+ years of experience in equivalent work experience in Marketing Management/ Strategy/Marketing Communications is required
  • 5+ years of people management and /or leadership experience is required

    WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

    • Lead Regional Marketing Strategy: Define and drive DECIEM’s marketing goals and vision across EMEA in alignment with global direction.
    • Deliver 360° Campaigns: Build and execute full-funnel integrated plans across paid, earned, owned, and CRM channels.
    • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Global, Digital, Comms, and Retail teams to ensure consistent messaging and campaign execution.
    • Leverage Consumer Insights: Use data to guide strategies, optimize performance, and shape product and market development.
    • Support Retail and Market Differentiation: Align with regional partners and affiliates to localize strategy, support launches, and uphold brand standards.

    Strategy:

    • Lead and align EMEA’s 360° marketing strategy across all channels—driving integrated campaigns, digital alignment, consumer content, and product marketing in sync with global objectives.
    • Champion innovation and regional relevance by leveraging market insights, trends, and competitor analysis to guide product feedback, media planning, and consumer acquisition strategies.
    • Oversee budgets and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring strong execution of education, digital, and in-store marketing initiatives while sharing best practices across markets to elevate impact.

    Advertising + Media Planning

    • Lead and optimize media strategy in collaboration with global, regional, and agency partners—managing paid media investments and campaigns across national and retailer platforms to drive awareness, engagement, and ROI, while ensuring all initiatives align with strategic KPIs and local relevance.

    Operational Execution:

    • Drive seamless execution of marketing operations, from visual merchandising and experiential activations to campaign reporting, ensuring brand excellence, on-time delivery, and strong cross-functional collaboration across the EMEA region.

    Management:

    • Manage a team across Brand, Online, VM, and Creative.
    • Grow talent embracing the DECIEM way <3

            • Agility & Crisis Management: Skilled in handling multiple projects, shifting priorities, and navigating crises with confidence and an innovative approach.
            • Operational Excellence: Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
            • Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building strong relationships across teams and functions.
