WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Senior Project Manager, Incubator - Global serves as the end-to-end lead project manager for all Deciem Incubator initiatives, with a large focus on new brand and new product launches. This individual will act as a chief-of-staff and key partner to the VP Brand in defining process flow, priorities, and overall cross-functional management.
MUST HAVES:
- A Degree or Diploma is required, with a focus on project management, cosmetics, IT, Business, Science, or another related field.
- 5+ years of project implementation experience is required.
- 3+ years of managerial or work in a leadership role is required.
PAY RANGE
The anticipated base salary for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 CAD.
Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Project Management and Execution
- Orchestrate and lead multiple, high-complexity brand and product launch projects, providing clear, strategic communication on status, progress, and risk mitigation to all key stakeholders
- Own and direct the entire product development life cycle, acting as the central hub to align and activate cross-functional teams (Brand, Scientific, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, etc.) to define scope, master deliverables, allocate resources, and manage the integrated work plan, budget, and timing for all Incubator launches.
- Serve as the centralized facilitator in project meetings, driving timely alignment across key teams to maintain critical project velocity and adherence to timelines.
- Implement the appropriate project management methodology (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) depending on the nature of the project.
- Systematically review projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, within defined scope, and with agreed upon specifications to enable the achievement of defined benefits.
- Ensure project processes are applied consistently, including project plans, issue and risk management, financial management, resourcing, and communications management.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the single source of truth and decision-making facilitator across cross- functional teams, ensuring seamless information flow and unified direction among all internal stakeholders involved in Incubator initiatives.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to cross-functional team members, leaders and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, and communicate/escalate information as appropriate to ensure critical timelines are met.
- Develop and present clear, concise executive summary reports to the SLT, proactively engaging them for key strategic decisions, providing clear recommendations, and articulating necessary resource or support requirements to ensure successful launch execution.
Risk, Process, and Improvement
- Perform risk assessments, mitigation plans, and execute high-risk mitigation meetings with all stakeholders, including leadership.
- Ensure that all deviations and risks are communicated and escalated effectively including updating the PM tool, Wrike.
- Manage projects related to continuous operational improvements for product development life cycle processes and within the Incubator function.
- Create and support the VP, Brand - Global with new process flows and mapping for new projects from scratch/baseline.
- Conduct and analyze post-implementation reviews and lessons learned after projects are completed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and documentation of DECIEM’s business practices, process, and operations.

- Strong communication and comfort to lead conversations with the Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders.
- Discipline to be methodical and demonstrate excellent decision-making.
- Demonstrates business acumen and understands how to implement/manage change.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and deadlines is essential.
- Solid organization and time management skills with the ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
