WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The successful Partnerships Associate Manager will be supporting our Korean retail partners to develop strategies and maximise efficiency, profitability and growth. They will work closely with the Partnerships Senior Manager to manage distribution with retail partners, including door expansions, closures and change of space. This person must be independent, proactive and be a strong communicator to build meaningful and strategic relationships with our retailers.

This person must be able to speak Korean & English, this is essential.

This is a FT, permanent role, working 40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity, based out of our Gangnam office.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Responsible for working with the South Korea Partnerships team to develop strategies to maximize efficiency, profitability and communication
  • Facilitate retail and distribution partnerships account set-up (handling administrative requirements, ensuring brand assets are transmitted, supporting in launch planning)
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional departments including: Design, Retail, Retail Operations, L&D, Supply, Logistics, PR / Comms and Digital to help aid our distribution expansion, brand elevation and education with retail and distribution partners in new markets
  • Create standard practices, documents, and procedures to maximize efficiency, maintain consistency, support portal integration and ensure transparency globally
  • Track, analyze and recap global business performance and opportunities on bi-weekly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Own the running global calendar to ensure visibility into sales and key internal and external deadlines, updates and expansion plans
  • Consolidate global forecast for new launches and work with Supply Chain on communicating timeline updates and overseeing prioritization as needed
  • Take charge of online dropship partner channels in South Korea including product launch, co-marketing, and content development.
  • Responsible for working with the Business Development team as opportunities arise with new business and global expansion plans including but not limited to prospecting, conducting market research and coordinating visits with distributors / prospective partners

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Strong problem solver, negotiator, and ability to take ownership
  • Strategic thinker, with extensive ability to operationalize, leveraging excellence in time management, demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent organization skills and demonstrate accuracy and detail-orientation is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Experience in Online or Offline Merchandising is a plus
