WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Supply Planning Analyst with strong experience in supply planning, ideally within a manufacturing environment, who can ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging components at optimal inventory levels to support Production and Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) operations. You’re highly analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers, Excel and ERP systems, with the ability to assess supply chain impacts, identify risks and turn data into practical actions. You’ll bring a strong sense of urgency and the ability to think strategically while executing tactically, partnering closely with Demand Planning, Production, Sourcing, Logistics, Inventory and Quality teams, as well as suppliers. Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside a continuous improvement mindset. This is a fixed-term contract ending August , 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during an exciting period of business growth and supply chain transformation

PAY RANGE

The anticipated hourly range for this position is 60,000 to 65,000 CAD.

Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging components at optimal inventory levels to support Production and Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) operations.
  • Determine purchase quantities and timing, creating and managing purchase orders to meet production requirements driven by DECIEM’s sales forecasts.
  • Monitor inventory levels, including out-of-stock, urgent, overage and aged inventory, and take appropriate action to maintain supply and inventory performance.
  • Manage inventory reviews, order reviews and replenishment activities with suppliers, ensuring supply plans remain aligned with production requirements.
  • Work closely with Sourcing Managers and suppliers to ensure existing and potential new suppliers have sufficient capability and capacity to meet production demand.
  • Monitor product flow and supplier deliveries, ensuring delivery dates are met and required documentation, including invoices, packing lists and bills of lading, is received and accurate.
  • Proactively identify supply risks, shipment delays, backorders and availability issues, working with cross-functional partners and suppliers to develop mitigation actions and minimize impact on production.
  • Review purchase orders against supplier invoices, follow up on urgent and aging PO items, and maintain accurate delivery and shipment information within ERP systems.
  • Regularly review and assess supply parameters, replenishment parameters and safety stock levels, using data and business requirements to optimize inventory.
  • Track and report availability, inventory and cost KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve supply flow, inventory turns and costs, while contributing to continuous improvement across supply planning processes.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

    • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or a related field; certifications such as APICS CSCP or CPIM are preferred.
    • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, with excellent numerical, analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
    • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Production Planning and Materials Management modules, is an asset.
    • Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, procurement and materials management, with the ability to understand the broader impact of decisions across the supply chain.
    • Highly detail-oriented, proactive and adaptable, with a strong sense of urgency, sound business acumen and excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills; able to manage multiple priorities, build strong cross-functional relationships and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
